Welcome to AmicoChat (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the AmicoChat mobile application (“App”). By registering and using the App, you agree to this Policy.
We do not collect biometric, contact list, or GPS location data without explicit permission.
We protect your data using AES-256 encryption and secure storage (Android KeyStore / EncryptedSharedPreferences). Despite strong protections, no system is entirely secure. You use AmicoChat at your own risk.
We do not sell personal data such as names, emails, or phone numbers for marketing purposes.
We may share limited data with trusted partners under strict data processing agreements, including:
Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot identify users may be shared or licensed to partners for improving AI models, research, or service optimization. Users will be notified before any significant change in data-sharing practices.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for providing the App or as required by law. Chat and interaction data are automatically deleted after 12 months unless required for security or abuse prevention.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, contact amicochat.help@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days as required by law.
In case of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities without undue delay, typically within 72 hours as required by GDPR.
AmicoChat is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.
AmicoChat strives to be inclusive. However, it is not certified under WCAG 2.1 or equivalent standards. Some visual, auditory, or interaction features may not work with all assistive technologies. By using the App, you acknowledge that certain limitations may exist.

If AmicoChat is acquired, merged, or involved in asset transfers, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users before any transfer affecting personal data.
By checking “I Accept the Privacy Policy” during registration, you consent to data processing as described here. The current version is v1.0 (Effective: October 29, 2025). Updates will be announced via in-app notice or email prior to taking effect.
AmicoChat is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or suitability for any purpose, including emotional or therapeutic support.
AmicoChat is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or counseling services. Users are responsible for their interactions and use of the App. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmicoChat disclaims all liability for damages or losses arising from App use.
This Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in courts or arbitration located in California, USA.
